Popotte has finally released Ship Mates (Gottlieb - 1964) for Future Pinball. I say "finally" as this was actually the first Future Pinball table redraw that he started work on way back in 2005. Dont forget to press the "L" button to launch the ball. A great recreation as always.
On the goooood ship.... Lollipop.

The Hermit has updated his incredible Invader Fall Pinball to V1.2. This original Visual Pinball table is a cross between Space Invaders and Pinball and is extremely well made. The table is now unlocked in this version so you can see for yourself how it was created.

The Speed Freak (AKA Freak of Speed) has released a fantastic recreation of Evel Knievel (Bally, 1977) for Future Pinball. Worthy of note are the incredible lighting effects applied to the playfield, an effect similar to that produced by Scapino for his Visual Pinball tables
Can you make the jump?

Brian Dominy has been hard at work on his FREEWPC software, an application that allows development of replacement game ROMS for Bally/Williams pinball machines based on the WPC (Williams Pinball Controller) chip. This software enables you to create your own custom rulesets and effects for tables based on this controller. Its also possible to test the changes in emulators such as Visual Pinmame before actually applying them to a real life machine. Whilst still in the testing stageits certainly a interesting project to keep an eye on. Find out more here.

There's an interesting thread over at VPForums started by David Foley, one of the original lead developers behind Ultrapin (Global VR), in which he describes the downhill slide and eventual collapse of the Ultrapin product. Naturally there's always two sides to every story but it makes for a good read. Ultrapin Funeral starts at 11:30am sharp.

Another fine Future Pinball remake by Popotte of a table that is now over 50 years old. Balls A Poppin (Ball, 1956) features the quality that Popotte is renowned for.
