Fancy a chance at US$10000 for playing a pinball sim? Dream Pinball is an upcoming release from ASK, the guys behind Pure Pinball. Download the free table "Two Worlds" from www.dream-pinball.com and be in with a chance to win the grand prize, its a game of skill and the highest score at the end of the competition will win (Closes August 31st).
The full release will feature: 6 tables with various themes - Balls made out of 6 materials (steel, two kinds of wood, marble, ivory, gold) with various ballistic characteristics - Multi-ball with up to 3 balls at once - Supports state of the art particle effects - Motion-blur-effects - Brilliant lightning because of HDRI-textures - Individual sounds and music for each table - Multiplayer mode for up to 4 gamers - 6 dynamic and one fixed camera position - Individual graphic settings for less powerful systems I recommend that users will find the game more enjoyable by setting the Pixel Shader setting to version 1.1 within the game options. This will likely result in much smoother gameplay on some systems. I tested this on an AMD 3000+ with Nvidia 6600GT and the speed and ball movement was far better using Pixel Shader 1.1 compared to V2. |
